It’s an exciting time for the beauty and lash industry! The demand for lash extension services is projected to continue rising, and according to an ABC News report, it’s projected to reach a whopping 1.5 billion by 2023. If you’ve been considering becoming a lash technician, now is definitely the time!

My passion for delivering lash training and education led to the development of L-lashes in 2017. I realized that many aestheticians were passionate about lash extensions, but not necessarily properly trained. Real-world experience is key to becoming an expert technician and meeting both the client and the salon owner’s expectations, but how do you first get that real-world experience at the very beginning when you’re just starting out?

As Director of Training for L-lash, we have successfully trained over 46 students. These students have appreciated the hands-on training on real models that they receive, rather than having to practice on a mannequin, as is usual for many lash training services.

Our monthly lash extension training has a very specific and hands-on approach. Over the course of our four-day training, students will receive a combination of theory and hands-on practice, where we provide seven real models for each student so that they can practice on different people and eye shapes. Our instructor to student ratio is one instructor to three or four students, allowing for small, personalized group settings.

At L-lashes, we teach students how they can work smarter, not harder, as we teach how to only apply for lash extensions on two main layers of real lashes, rather than every single eyelash. This achieves a beautiful and fluffy look in less time.

During our lash extension training, you’ll learn both Classic and Volume methods, as well as how to create different styles of eyelash extensions, like Katun, Sole Thai, and Eyeliner Effect.

Once the completion of the course, you’ll receive certification in both Classic and Volume eyelash extensions from L-lashes.
